Our Mission Statement
We recognize that without hope we have no chance of changing the course of our country or picking ourselves up and rising out of the ashes as we did on 9.12. We believe, like our hard working and educated founding fathers, that life like government begins at the family/local level and as such we will inspire hope in our community through participation, education and legislation. We WILL uphold the Constitution and we will do so by educating ourselves, our families, and those who are willing to learn, by informing them/us about the original intent of our founding fathers and their inspiring documents. We will not back any political parties or candidates. We will align ourselves at times with other organizations to help with issues at the state and federal level.

Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Patriot?
Any people that would give up liberty for a little temporary safety deserves neither liberty nor safety.
-Benjamin Franklin
We base all our experiments on the capacity of mankind for self-government.
-James Madison
Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.
-Thomas Jefferson
Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
-George Washington
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is argument of tyrants. It is the creed of slaves.
-William Pitt in the House of Commons November 18, 1783
You have rights antecedent to all earthly governments; rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws; rights derived from the Great Legislator of the Universe
-John Adams - 2nd President

The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Our Findlay 9.12 Project went to Washington for the march and it was awesome! The Washington D.C. police reported that there were 1.5 million people there. I believe them. We arrived at Freedom Plaza at 8:00 am and it was already full of people. The march was supposed to start at 11:30 am. But by 10:30 am the area was so full, you could hardly move a foot in front of you and people were still coming. All the streets coming into the city were jammed. People were getting out of their buses and cars and walking the rest of the way. The Metro system was packed and there were bunches of people at the station that had to wait for the next train. So, there was no way they were going to make it on time. Meanwhile, back at the Plaza, they had to start the march early, because there was no more room for anymore people. As we moved toward the capital, people kept joining in from the side streets, all the way down Pennsylvania Ave. I was hoping a lot of people would show up, but I had no idea there would be that many. Everyone was very pleasant to be around, very polite, met a lot of people from every state. There were a lot of veterans there. And as we talked to them, we thanked them for their service. One guy said, " It was an honor".
As far as protesters, we saw a small group that called themselves Billionaires for Healthcare and there was one guy that tried to run by the capital with a pro-Obama sign, but he was seriously outnumbered. The police escorted him out of the area. Everyone was booing him.
At the end of it all, as we walked back to our hotels,it was kind of amazing. Everyone put all of their trash in the trash cans, not in the street or lawns. It was a great experience. We have a lot of very good people in our country. I hope this march makes a difference. If not, we'll be back!
